  • In danger, unseen, unknown!

    ἐγώ egó εἰμί eimí ὁ jo ποιμήν poimén ὁ jo καλός kalós

    “I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me— just as the Father knows me and I know the Father—and I lay down my life for the sheep.

    John 10:14-15


    You number my wanderings;
    Put my tears into Your bottle;
    Are they not in Your book?

    Psalm 56:8

    I’m fully known and seen (ginósko) by Christ, He is The good shepherd, my good shepherd. He notices whenever I’m weak and needed, and looks after me, he even carries me in His beautiful arms! He already offered his own life because of me. He has chosen to face the wounds of the Crucifixion, because of me. He let others hurt him, because he knows so utterly, he knows what I need. What I need, is only in Him and His Word. He knew me, before I was an embryo, he had chosen me before the foundation of the world!

    In the midst of huge persecution the psalmist reports before God of the evil his enemies have caused him – such that he sheds tears -. He repeats twice:

    … in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me.

    Psalm 56:4

    In God have I put my trust: I will not be afraid what man can do unto me.

    Psalm 56:11

    Even if I’ve been hurt, or they don’t bother on knowing me, know the truth about my soul’s pain and how I need to be ministered; God knows all the trauma, extreme anguish and inconsolable weeping I have been at. He keeps the record or everything, I mean something to Him and He is a just God that has my cause in his hands. I can trust in him for He is not going to hurt me as the World did.

  • ¿Abandono, indignidad?

    El que no escatimó ni a su propio Hijo, sino que lo entregó por todos nosotros, ¿cómo no nos dará también con él todas las cosas?

    (…) Antes, en todas estas cosas somos más que vencedores por medio de aquel que nos amó. Por lo cual estoy seguro de que ni la muerte, ni la vida, ni ángeles, ni principados, ni potestades, ni lo presente, ni lo por venir, ni lo alto, ni lo profundo, ni ninguna otra cosa creada nos podrá separar del amor de Dios, que es en Cristo Jesús Señor nuestro.

    Romanos 8:32; 37-39

    Aunque mi padre y mi madre me dejaran,
    Con todo, Jehová me recogerá.

    Salmos 27:10

    Yo sé que mi Redentor vive,
    Y al fin se levantará sobre el polvo;
    Y después de deshecha esta mi piel,
    En mi carne he de ver a Dios;

    Al cual veré por mí mismo,
    Y mis ojos lo verán, y no otro,

    Aunque mi corazón desfallece dentro de mí.

    Job 19:25-27

    Pasar por el dolor de un trauma, muchas veces, más de las que nos atrevemos a ser conscientes, no se reduce a un evento puntual, sino que afecta de maneras significativas nuestro corazón y lo que creemos acerca de Dios y acerca de nosotros mismos. Este es el primer blog, de una serie de varios , en los que voy a ir rebatiendo las mentiras que yo misma he creído y cómo el Señor ha usado su Palabra para traer consuelo, comunión y transformación a mi vida.

    Dios envió a su Unigénito, para encarnarse en un cuerpo verdaderamente humano, renunciando a sus privilegios divinos en su peregrinaje en ésta Tierra. Jesús se dio a sí mismo en una muerte de cruz y Su sangre fue el precio que personalmente Él ha pagado por mi redención. ¡Soy tan valiosa que la sangre del mismísimo Dios encarnado fue el precio! No por mí o por el valor que yo tengo por mí misma, sino debido a la pureza y honor admirables de Cristo.

    El Salmo 27 habla acerca del salmista David, perseguido, sus enemigos buscaban su muerte. ¿Puede ser posible tal angustia y estrés, que David hace uso de la imagen de un niño abandonado por sus padres? ¡Cómo me maravilla el hecho de que que la compasión y adopción del Señor están aseguradas, así como su amor…! Como dice el himno Completo en ti:

    Justificado por ti estoy,
    santificado, salvo soy.
    Cuando ante ti rendido esté,
    glorificado yo seré.

    Aún cuando mi carne ha sido destruída por el abuso, aún en esa mi carne, cuando esté completamente glorificada, he de ver al Dios Altísimo en la tierra de los vivientes.

    Ya no soy indigna, ya voy por la vida por cuenta propia; lo que me ocurrió no me define. Jesús tiene cuidado de mí, Jesús me ayudará a sanar, porque soy amada y acepta en Él y sólo en Él.

  • Abandonment, unworthiness?

    Thought my father and mother forsake me, the LORD will receive me.

    Psalms 27:10

    I know that my redeemer lives, and that in the end he will stand on the earth. And after my skin has been destroyed, yet in my flesh I will see God.

    Job 19:25-27

    He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all —how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?

    (…) No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor dept, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

    Romans 8:32; 37-39

    God sent his only-begotten child, to take form of a true human being, laying down to his divine privileges during his peregrination on this earth. Jesus gave himself to death on a cross and His blood was the price he personally paid for my redemption. I’m so worthy that the very God incarnated blood was the price! Not because of me and the value I have, but because of Christ’s amazing purity and honor.

    Psalm 27 talks about the psalmist, David, persecuted, his enemies wanted him dead. Could be such distress and anguish possible, that he uses the image of a child being abandoned by his parents? How it amazes me the fact that I have Lord’s compassion and adoption assured, as well as His love!… As the hymn says:

    Yea, justified!
    O blessed thought!
    And sanctified!
    Salvation wrought!
    Thy blood hath pardon
    Bought for me,
    And glorified,
    I too, shall be!

    One last thought on the Job’s affirmation, that I’m adopting to my own reality:

    Even when my flesh has been destroyed by the abuse, yet in my flesh, when fully glorified, I will see the Almighty God in the land of the living.

    No longer unworthy, no longer alone by myself, what happened to me doesn’t define who I am. Jesus takes care of me, Jesus will help me to heal, because I’m loved and accepted in Him.
